LOVE HER, HATE HER.
"WHY HER?"
"WHO IS SHE?"
"HER AGAIN!"
Unending bashing and criticism starts minting up, while she giggles only a metre away.little did i know of her ambitions, when i met this kohl eyed small town girl draped in her inky cloak called abaya. URFA RAIS ANSARI, she said with rolled tongue, when she introduced herself to everyone. With passing years, she urged out of every second discussion from her topper stature to her hegemonizing presence. And with dreams gleaming in her eyes, pitched voice in her throat and guts grumbling in her belly, she has garnered both love and hate over the years. History spews that " ambitions look vulgar on woman, since it is a man's prodigy". Strong women have always offended prudish mimsy males, and continue to. I wonder what makes this burkha clad girl so whimsical and yet scandalous? why we never have enough of her? why is she always hot enough to be a burning bonfire, where people can fling juicy gossips?
After failing to be Ms goody two shoes, and wasted efforts of peace making propoganda, she broke. She recollected herself with stern looks on her face and nervous emotions under her abaya. That abaya is her cloak where she hides her anxiety and fears. She smiles, fakes, laughs and flirts with same people who lambast her even for picking a pen from the floor.
"I absorb negativity" she says smiling. I dont buy that. maybe she is soaking and storing it again, yes...under her abaya.
Dont take her as a sacrificing, skittish lamb. she is a sharp-witted fox,who would eat off her platter, before you could even start.Over the years, she has carved out not a niche.....but whole Buddhist monastery for her. Those A grades never go out for a ride from her marksheet. She remains reminiscential today, guarded by her girl gang. We know people wont spare a thought for her again. so love her, hate her. She is still smiling.
